Senior DevOps Engineer
? Should be Graduate or Post Graduate in Informati on Technology / Computer Informati on Systems / Computer Science / Computer Applicati on in a full-ti me course from a reputed University.
1. Should have 6+ years of experience in IT / e-Governance.
2. Should have 3+ years experience in DevOps on Microsoft platf orm.
3. Should have experience of load testi ng, deployment for applicati on testi ng, staging, deployment and maintenance.
4. Should have experience of large / government applicati ons and database deployment.
5. Should have experience of deploying applicati ons in cloud / SDC.
6. Should have experience of applicati on testi ng tools like JMeter, Selenium, etc
The roles and responsibiliti es of Senior DevOps Engineer is as follows:
1. Preparati on of applicati on policy, backup & restore policy, credenti als policy, access policy, retenti on policy, applicati on testi ng policy, etc.
2. Requirements gathering, preparati on of functi onal/domain documents, technical documents, manuals, reports, presentati ons, etc.
3. Installati on, confi gurati on, testi ng, management and administrati on of COTS and Bespoke applicati ons deployed at Data Centers and DR sites.
4. Installati on, confi gurati on, testi ng, management and administrati on of diff erent technology stacks, heterogeneous operati ng systems, heterogeneous applicati on servers and applicati on replicati on between data centers & disaster recovery sites and primary & secondary services, load sharing and load balancing.
5. Deployment, testi ng, UAT, load testing, of applicati ons on test environment.
6. Ensuring compliance to SSL, IT Security, Audit Trail, IT Act, Aadhar Act, security audit and Aadhar compliance, data privacy, etc.
7. Installati on and confi gurati on of patches, upgrades, etc.
8. Write SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers and functi ons for generati on of ad hoc reports.
9. Confi gure and monitor real ti me alerts on applicati ons for excepti ons and issues.
10. Troubleshooting issues related to application, performance, session issues, response, etc.
11. Collection of test data and preparation of test batches and soft ware testi ng.
12. Preparation of software testing reports, traceability matrix and defect tracking.
13. Installation, configurati on, deployment of testing tools and soft ware for automated testi ng.
14. Obtain necessary approvals for all documentations, initiati ves and projects.
15. Training and coordinati on with users and stakeholders.
16. Any other tasks assigned.
17. Reporting to Executive Director, Senior Project Manager.
